Dreamy Estate Cat’s Eye Bracelet

This gorgeous estate line bracelet features lively cat's eye chrysoberyl stones set snugly into gold bezel setting links. The highly-sought gem is prized for the optical effect called chatoyancy, which occurs when an abundance of needle-like rutile inclusions align themselves perpendicular to the crystal axis as the chrysoberyl grows. When cut in a cabochon, the end effect makes it appear as though a skinny line of light is hovering over and dancing about on the stone's surface. Of particular desirability with this stone is the "milk and honey" effect, where one side of the ray is golden and the other side white.
