Gorgeous Retro Diamond Ring

We are absolutely smitten with this big, bold retro ring. A smooth profile is enhanced by crisp linear detail; warm yellow gold in soft curves with negative space hug an old European cut with bright, chunky facets. This substantial unisex ring is at once coolly sleek and warmly inviting. Crafted by New York City's Scheurer Co. in the 1930s, the mount's design puts a forward-looking spin on the classic belcher setting, while the old cut diamond (a hold over from bygone days at the point it was made) honours the antique roots of the style. Demi-bezels at north and south and smooth prongs that glide directly into the shoulders create a look that is the best of both worlds in stone setting.

Very good vintage condition with moderate wear in line with age, including evidence of past resizing.
