Scintillating Antique Diamond Cluster Ring

This gorgeous ring - we suspect converted a pin or other former jewel - features seven dazzling old cut diamonds snuggled together in a low-rise, flat backed setting. From a distance, the cluster gives the effect of a whopping diamond but once you get close and personal it's obvious that each individual stone is bursting with personality. These old cut diamonds are obviously and lovingly cut by hand, landing in among the earliest iterations of old European cuts, with outlines charmingly off-round and pronounced culets emphasizing broad facets. As is typical for old diamonds, these stones aren't flawless - they've been graded in-mount as H/I/J in colour and SI1-I1 clarity overall - but this is an absolute dream ring for a lover of old jewelry with personality and sparkle.
