This breathtaking late Edwardian ring adds a luscious, thick twist to the beloved boat ring style. So called because of the elongated and tapered setting's resemblance to a small craft, this ring swaps out traditional faceted stones for smooth sapphire cabochons that glow like marbles, and dainty lines for a robust band with a convex near-knife edge shape. Time-smoothed milgrain encircles the setting, with a quartet of old Euro diamonds spacing out the blue bubbles of sapphire. We love the lucky feeling of a seven-stone ring styled like a trilogy: the three sapphires can be taken in the classic sense to represent past, present, and future, while the addition of diamonds to top it up to an auspicious seven imbues a little extra significance. Perfect as a stacker or a statement, as a unique engagement or wedding ring, something old or something blue, or even just something for you.

Very good antique condition with reasonable wear in line with age and use. All stones are secure and band remains thick and sturdy.
