Electric Blue Vintage Sapphire Trilogy Ring

Photos can't do justice to the beautiful shades of blue in this ring! The classic trilogy style gets a modern twist from crisp emerald-cut sapphires, accented by a small white diamond on either shoulder. A high basket lets a lot of light into this stones, but the cathedral-style shoulders give it a smooth rise making it very wearable.

Trilogy or three-stone rings have long been worn, with the stones representing the past, present, and future - the sentiment lends beautifully to any number of occasions, from romantic anniversaries and engagements, to personal milestones such as birthdays, graduations, and the achievement of goals. The stars of the show are synthetic sapphires, which are chemically identically to naturals, simply created in a lab setting. This means that synthetic stones are able to achieve all of the desired properties of a natural stone - in this case, the strength and durability as well as the charming colour of sapphires - without contributing to the ongoing mining of natural stones, and the related environmental and ethical impact. For some, this is an ideal mix, but others prefer natural. We have priced this ring to reflect that these are not earth-mined stones.
