Rosy Antique Rolled Gold Trombone Bracelet

We're smitten with this early 20th century take on the trombone or paperclip style link, featuring long oval links offset with petite round links. Each oval segment is lightly faceted into the middle, adding an extra element of interest and depth to the standard negative space design. The bracelet walks that fine line between having a distinct antique bearing, and blending seamlessly into your collection of contemporary pieces. Crafted in rolled gold - extremely common for chains (especially men's chains) in the early 20th century, the gold plate is mechanically fused to a base metal core (rather than thinly deposited as in plating). This piece has developed a lovely rosy tone.

Very good antique condition with well-formed links and secure clasps. Wear to gold plate in line with age and use.
