Ultra Low Star Set Diamond Ring

One of our most sought after styles, and for good reason: these star-set rings are comfortable, low-profile, and have the perfect balance of sparkly diamond and rich and heavy gold. A charming old cut diamond - hand cut to preserve size, with chubby facets and a prominent culet - sits so low in this gently rounded band that the base of the stone pokes right through. You might want to size up ever so slightly from your normal ring size to give it a little space and comfort.

Good antique condition with reasonable wear in line with age and use, including a lovely patina and a few small nicks to the girdle of the stone (not noticeable when worn). Stone is secure. Evidence of past resizing.
