Dazzling Vintage Topaz Cocktail Ring

This spectacular Art Deco-inspired ring hails from about the 1950s and oozes the glamour of the post-war period. The elongated diamond shape of the face of the ring is effortlessly sexy, while the angular form contrasts beautifully with the swirling filigree-like wire work of the gallery and the dazzling round stones. At centre, a cool sky blue topaz is clutched by six prongs, giving the round stone a hexagonal impression, while the tips of the face are filled out with a pair of lively old European cut diamonds, lending to the Art Deco look. Likewise, the shoulders are dusted with further old Euros, alongside the hand engraved shank, filigree gallery, and milgrain edging that make this ring a stunner from every angle. At a petite size 3.5, this would make a breathtaking pinky statement ring (we dream of this ring being someone's "something blue" on their wedding day), but it also deserves the kind of bold attitude that will bring it out of the jewelry box on more frequent occasions as well.

Very good vintage condition with wear in line with age and use, including very minor evidence of past resizing and wearing to engraving on sides and back of band.
