Canada Post Strike Update Effective 16 October 2025
Canada Post's union, Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) is currently on strike, with rotating work stoppage and substantial delays. We have updated checkouts to reflect automated rates from Purolator and are working to integrate UPS rates as well, and FedEx remains an option domestically. In the meantime, both of these couriers are available at comparable costs to our Canadian clients, and if you prefer UPS over Purolator and are placing an order before the integrations are set up, you can leave a note at checkout requesting UPS instead. At this time we have not re-added Canada Post rates in hopes that some backlog will be cleared first, but you can request Canada Post or a temporary shipping hold in notes at checkout.
At this time, we are only offering FedEx for orders outside of Canada and apologize for the increased cost.
We support CUPW and are hoping for a successful resolution of this strike.
TARIFFS UPDATE Effective 25 August 2025
Canada Post is currently in the process of updating their systems to meet the Duty Paid requirement from the United States. At this time, it is unclear if secondhand goods will be possible to ship via the postal network, depending on paperwork requirements regarding manufacturer origin.
At this time we have had to suspend postal service shipping to the US only, and all US orders must ship via FedEx. Orders sent via FedEx are duty unpaid, and all tariffs, duties, taxes, and processing fees will be collected by FedEx either on delivery or subsequently billed. As always, import charges remain the responsibility of the buyer. Keep in mind that charges apply to the item's country of origin (manufacture, included in all product listings), as well as the Harmonized Tariff Schedule code (usually 7113.19 for gold jewelry or 9706.90 for antiques over 100 years), and processing and brokerage fees.
With any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out via our contact page.

We currently ship once per week, typically Tuesday. The expected delivery times are from when the package is received by the courier, not when the order is placed. Basic shipping calculates automatically at checkout.

The recipient is responsible for any incurred fees, as these are unfortunately out of our control. Items over a certain value threshold, which varies by country, are subject to additional paperwork by the recipient for customs clearance.
