A dream of '80s excess, with plump, bright white marquise diamonds casually a-lean within a soft bypass frame of swooping gold. The diamonds appear even larger on a slim knife-edge band, and maximize finger coverage through their proportions and orientation on the ring.

The marquise cut has experienced waves of popularity through her lifespan: designed c. 1745, in Paris for King Louis XV, who requested a diamond in the shape of his mistress' smile, the stone has inspired designers (and frustrated stone setters) ever since, reaching peak popularity in the Art Deco era and from the 1950s-1980s. She appears to be making a ferocious comeback, unseating the oval and then pear shapes for those in search of a unique and flattering alternative to a classic round brilliant.

Three stone or trilogy rings have likewise enjoyed a rich tradition. Often interpreted as representing past, present, and future, we love them as much to celebrate a relationship as we do to mark personal achievements, milestones, and goals. Be sure to check instagram.com/st.eloi for videos of this stunning ring in motion.

Very good vintage condition with moderate wear commensurate with age.
