Getting & Giving 2025
I am immensely grateful for your enthusiasm over this year's sale. Through your purchases and with a small top up, we've donated C$1700 plus fees to each of Sistering, The 519, and Black Legal Action Centre, totaling just over C$5200. Last year, we changed the way we run our annual holiday sale, channeling rage into action and committing a portion of sales to charitable organizations we feel strongly are bettering our communities. Through your purchases in the 2024 Getting & Giving Sale, we were able to donate C$4500 to The Loveland Foundation, RAINN, and the National Network of Abortion Funds. This year, in addition to your discount on vintage, we're once again pledging to donate to causes that matter to us.
The best part of having my own business is making my own decisions, and again this year I've decided to add a donation on top of the holiday discount, even if that might not be entirely in my best financial interest - what a gift to myself that I can manage this risk and extend a little support to others in this way.
All orders made through the sale will have 15% donated to the following charitable organizations:
Sistering is a multi-service agency and Toronto's only 24/7 drop-in that provides low-barrier practical and emotional support to women and gender-diverse people.
The 519 is a City of Toronto agency committed to the health, happiness and full participation of the 2SLGBTQ+ communities through an innovative model of Service, Space and Leadership.
BLAC is an independent not-for-profit community legal clinic that combats individual and systemic anti-Black racism by providing free legal services, conducting research, developing public legal education materials, and engaging in test case litigation and law reform.

I'm mad and want to do something about it.
