A gorgeous piece given new life, this sweet pearl-dusted crescent moon came to us as a fine brooch crafted near the turn of the century. As darling as it was, we knew it deserved far more wear than the standard pin receives in the modern era, so we added a dainty gold chain, while maintaining the playful slant of the crescent as it was originally designed to sit.

Pearls have long had a celestial connection from the soft lunar glow of their lustrous nacre, and the connection of their watery sources to the tidal pull of the moon. 

Good antique condition with wear to pearls and gold crescent in line with age and use; chain is new stock.
