This sweet ring has obviously been well loved in its 125 years: what was once an intricate engraving over the face and shoulders has been worn and rubbed to just a faint suggestion within its tapered, milgrained frame. Likely the pearl has been replaced at least once, while the old, high-domed rose cut diamonds (skewing slightly more peppery than salt) appear to have been in it for the long haul. In back, the open space where once would have been a glass-topped locket, gives us a further indication of just how special and meaningful this piece would have been to its original caretaker. A little age and wear notwithstanding, the ring remains both charming and comfortable and is ready for further adventures out in the world.

Please keep in mind that pearls are not compatible with hand sanitizers/alcohols, and with closed-back settings care should be taken to avoid submerging the ring in water.

Good antique condition with wear in line with age and use, including one small chip to pearl, slightly visible epoxy, and evidence of past sizing. Original locket back is missing.
