The hunting horn - a curving brass instrument that almost looks like a cross between a bugle and a French horn but without all the fuss - is unique for its lack of valves and keys, meaning all changes to the tone must be made solely by the player's mouth. Used for signaling, and perhaps perfect to signal to the mouthiest one you know that you hear them loud and clear.
