Bold Wide Vintage Band

This big ring is an amazing way to step up the glamour of your look with a single, comfortable piece. A full 10mm wide, ever so subtly flared, and textured all the way around with a fine wale ribbing and circular chased patterns. Chasing - the practice of using an array of stamp-like tools with different faces to hammer a texture into the gold texture (often mistakenly labelled engraving nowadays) is one of the oldest techniques of gold patterning, and creates a beautiful shimming texture on this broad surface.

Good vintage condition with reasonable wear throughout; appears to have been some minor resizing but do not recommend further.
