A classic Edwardian style with feminine flair, this trilogy ring features three old cut diamonds each held in their own crown-like basket on a slim band that tapers perfectly into the mount. Three stone rings have long been enjoyed for their pleasant aesthetic effect, and are widely used to represent relationships, with each stone standing in for past, present, and future. We also love to see them being used to represent personal growth and accomplishments outside of romantic endeavours. Tucked inside this sparkling ring is a worn hand-engraved inscription that appears to be for the 1st of May, 1920 (we double checked with a professional engraver!).
Good antique condition with wear in line with age and use, settings appear to have been retipped and stones are all secure. Minor evidence of past resizing is barely noticeable from outside, but has resulted in loss of some engraving detail.
