Bright Vintage Scarab Ring
Bright Vintage Scarab Ring

Sold out
A rich and verdant ring, featuring a simple band and bezel holding a green agate carved as a scarab. The scarab (a dung beetle!) was revered in ancient Egypt as representing the cycle of rebirth - a symbol of immortality, of transformation, and of resurrection. We love the aesthetic, but we also love the idea of this powerful motif reminding us that through change we continue on day after day.
Good vintage condition with reasonable wear to gold and stone, including some notches filed on inner edge of band from past gold testing and subtle evidence of resizing.
Details:
• 10k yellow gold, stamped and trademarked E&E
• Size 6.75 and can be resized within reason
• One dyed and carved agate cabochon approximately 16x12mm
• Face of ring measures 17mm wide, 13.5mm across, with a rise of 7mm, back of band measures 1.7mm wide and 1.2mm thick
• 4.3g
