This lovely c.1930s ring features a smooth, glowing pearl at the centre of a halo of transitional cut diamonds that dazzle in natural and electric light alike. Inspired by late Edwardian modest elegance and natural beauty, the halo of diamonds sits in a scalloped frame evocative of the daisy rings that were so popular in the decades that preceded it. The contrast between twinkling diamonds and the smooth sheen of the pearl is enchanting while the low rise and slim band give it a modern feel.
Very good near-antique condition with minor wear in line with age and use, including evidence of past resizing, and of repair at pearl (some epoxy visible).
