A gorgeous antique-inspired double Albert chain, these are a challenge to find in lengths long enough to wear as necklaces. Originally intended for use as watch chains, the t-bar was meant to slide through a vest's buttonhole to anchor the chain, while dogclips at either end were used to secure pocket watches, fobs, keys and the like. While they can certainly still be worn in this way today, we also love to use them as necklaces now - the dogclips perfect to attach charms alone or on a charm ring.
Very good vintage condition with wear in line with age and regular use. Clasps are secure. Please note final two images are a styling suggestion; any charms pictured are not included.

• 9k yellow gold, stamped and tested, with British hallmarks for Birmingham, date letter lost, maker's mark S-LC
• 17" long, 4.5mm width, 2.2mm thick
• T-bar measures 35.4x2.4mm
