Dainty Vintage Sapphire Halo Ring

A darling vintage ring, composed in a charming mix of 9k gold and platinum, and holding a vivid blue synthetic sapphire. In the mid century, halo rings crossed with cocktail rings to create bold "ballerina" style rings, typically designed with a spray of elongated baguette diamonds giving the halo the appearance of the stiff, straight appearance of a tutu. This ring is crafted in a more subtle style, with engraving taking the place of baguettes and giving it an almost Edwardian vibe.

Good vintage condition with moderate wear in line with age and use.
