Dazzling Vintage Ribbed Marquise Ring

Obsessed is putting in mildly - we've long loved this classic vintage style of ribbed shoulders of gold surrounding a focal stone, and can't get enough of the way this east-west marquise diamond's details are carried over into more chevron-like steps. The diamond itself is a stunning quarter carat that is so bright and eye-clean, it will immediately catch attention even on such a petite ring. The ring is just a little over a size 4.5, and while it could be ever so slightly sized, we don't recommend it - sizing up or down will put pressure on the sides of the diamond, and in this case - set horizontally and with fragile points at the edges - the diamond is at risk of chipping on the tips if resized.

Very good vintage condition with a bright finish to the gold and securely set diamond. Very minor evidence of past resizing.
