This beautiful pin was most likely part of a jewelry suite with convertible components: the pearl and diamond halo head has a hidden screw back to release from the pin stem, and it would be been able to affix to other portions of the suite, such as a necklace or ring. Though at first we imagined turning this pin into a simple necklace, once we discovered the convertible aspect we opted to leave it as is, on the chance someone is bold enough to build a new companion piece for it!

Very good antique condition with moderate wear in line with age and use. Head screws off pin stem. c1900. Originally manufactured in the UK.
