A breathtaking signet ring with an expertly carved intaglio depicted a dove extending an olive branch in its beak. Two powerful symbols of peace, love, and reconciliation in a dramatic stone and rich, heavy band make a statement ring indeed. The bloodstone is a deep saturation, looking almost black under regular indoor lighting, but when caught in the sunlight it sings a velvety forest green, flecked throughout with the telltale red specks that lend the gem its name. Though the back of the ring is lightly hollowed out, it still comes in at a very substantial 7 grams and feels weighty and beautiful on the hand.

Good vintage condition with wear to stone and gold. A prior hand engraved inscription appears to have been buffed out from inside the band.
