Elegant Retro Diamond Shield Ring

A truly special ring, drawing rich inspiration from Edwardian and Art Deco styles with an elongated shield face, set with sparkling diamonds and an inner frame invoking the glamour of the marquise cut. The long face is flattering and lengthening on the finger, while the mix of old European and single cut diamonds glimmer in a romantic, classic fashion. The mixed metals allow the ring to easily pair with any other jewelry in your wardrobe, and was a classic feature of 1930s jewelry.

The ring is stamped COMAY'S, and to the best of our knowledge originates from family-owned Comay's of downtown Gary, Indiana - founded in 1928, but now long closed. Minor evidence of resizing in the back of the band.
