Contour bands (in curves, dips, or chevrons) are a playful way to stack around stone set or signet rings, cradling their neighboring rings and building outwards. An ideal shape also looks wonderful alone, playing up negative space and dimension like this golden vee, set with a quintet of diamonds smoothly sunk flush into the band.

• Face of ring measures 7.8mm wide, 12mm across, with a rise of 1.5mm; back of band measures 2.5mm wide and 1.5mm thick; dip measures 10mm wide and 4.8mm deep
