If it ain't broke...! We love this contemporary take on an antique mainstay, a sweet serpent coiled around your finger - complete with a wee opal on her noggin. Textured scales add the the depth and dimension of this lightweight and easy to stack piece.

Snakes were a favourite motif of the Victorian era, particularly after ol' Vicky started to sport a coiled snake ring in honour of her engagement to Prince Philip. Representing passion and everlasting love, they are also a good reminder of sloughing off that which no longer fits you, and of being adaptable and open to growth.

Though it appears some epoxy has been used in the past to secure the opal, the ring is in overall very good estate condition. Hot tip - we managed two get a pair of two of these and love the idea of them for dual engagement rings, friendship rings, sisters' rings, or more!
