Excellent Antique Single Star Set Ring

A perfect take on a beloved Victorian style, even if it dates to just beyond the queen's era. Star settings were a favourite in the latter half of the 19th century, with engraved rays catching the light in gold and low settings making them easy to wear for men and women alike. We love the marquise-shape of the face of this ring, evocative of an eye with a sparkling diamond centre, and the deep decorative details on each shoulder.

Very good antique condition with reasonable wear for age.

• Size 7 (loose) and can be resized within reason
• One early old European cut diamond
• Face of ring measures 8.5mm wide with a rise of 2.1mm; back of band measures 2.6mm wide and 0.7mm thick
