An absolutely beautiful early Victorian ring that emanates elegant style and the lasting beauty of a handcrafted work of art. A gently reeded band spreads into ornate, hand engraved bifurcated shoulders with leafy details as though they are growing directly out of the bright yellow gold. Held between them is a centrepiece of pearls that surround a glowing, verdant emerald. The gentle floral shape of the pearl halo is the perfect match for the foliate shoulders, while the green of the emerald immediately draws a picture of grassy open fields dotted with wildflowers. It always feels like such an honour to be able to offer a ring of this age (c.1850s), especially in such fine condition.

Please keep in mind that pearls and emeralds are not compatible with hand sanitizers/alcohols, and with closed-back settings care should be taken to avoid submerging the ring in water.

Good antique condition with wear in line with age and use, including some small chips to pearls, light surface wear to emerald, and evidence of past sizing.
