Exquisite Edwardian Sapphire Ring
An absolutely breathtaking ring, centring on on a deep and luscious blue sapphire, and crafted in icy white gold and platinum. The crisp white metals are the perfect complement to the cool indigo stone, whose natural colour zoning presents as an almost alchemical shifting of different shades and saturations of blue throughout. Held with eight slim and elegant prongs and accented with three twinkling diamonds on each shoulder, the sapphire sings when the light hits it. This ring is the epitome of Edwardian elegance and restraint, though likely made closer to the 1920s.
Good vintage condition with moderate wear, including minor evidence of past resizing, and one prong that will need retipping ahead of others, though the stone is fully secure and wearable. Minor wear to stone, but ring has been polished relatively recently and has a bright finish.
