What initially appears to be a simple solitaire design delights on closer inspection: eight prongs meet with light scallops into a crown setting, slim trifurcated shoulders bloom into a reeded band, and a beautifully cut old European diamond positively dazzles in the light. This dreamy antique ring ups the romantic ante with an inscription from the couple in love over 125 years ago.

Very good antique condition. Wear in line with age and use, including slight pinching at shoulder decoration, lightly visible repair at one shoulder and that side's basket, past resizing seams at shoulders, and wear to personalized engraving.
