This gorgeous late Victorian band is all about the opals: five graduated stones offer full finger coverage on a barely-there band, held in place by fine talon-like prongs. Though the stones are incredibly shy on camera, they each feature cool tones of green-blue-violet, and, when the light is just right, a warm orangey glow that creeps up from their underbellies. Some wear to the opals' surfaces have quieted their fire a little, but the ring lights up like magic under the right conditions. Good antique condition with wear in line with age and use (to gold and stones); all stones are secure.
