Hearty Antique Shield Signet

A gorgeous turn of the century signet in a style that feels timeless despite nods to the era, with lovely flared shoulders and a smooth blank slate of a face. Often our blank signets come to us either pristine (and younger) or deeply worn with the faintest trace of past engraving - this wonderful piece is a sort of middle ground: while worn and loved with a soft patina that speaks to its age, it maintains a full figure without the thinning or other body wear so common in a ring of over 120 years.

Very good antique condition with minor wear in line with age and use.

• 9k yellow gold, with full British hallmarks for Chester 1901, maker's mark EV
• Size 6 1/2 and can be resized within two sizes
• Face of ring measures 11.8mm wide,  10.6mm across, with a rise of 2.1mm; back of band measures 4.5mm wide and 1.3mm thick
