There's such a special feeling in finding a preloved piece that already has letters on it that are meaningful to you, that we play pretty fast and loose - maybe it's the first or last initials of you and your lover, or your own in another order, or the initials of a loved one: no matter what, it will feel sentimental every time it catches your eye.

Very good antique condition with wear in line with age and use, including evidence of past resizing and warm rosy patina. Engraved with letters WWS, possibly also with an I.

, with British hallmarks for Chester (date letter lost to past sizing), maker's mark S.U
• Size 4 3/4-5 (slightly out of round) and can be resized within two sizes
• Face of ring measures 13.8mm wide, 11.7mm across, with a 2.1mm rise; back of band measures 3mm wide and 0.7mm thick
