Old Woman in a Shoe Vintage Charm
Old Woman in a Shoe Vintage Charm
Though the nursery rhyme that tells of the old woman who lived in a shoe and had so many children she didn't know what to do has some iffy origins and less savory versions, this funny little charm takes it on with aplomb. The exterior of the shoe-house is lovely and detailed, with a little roof and chimney and window near the heel - while the interior is comically unfinished, as though the manufacturer made an articulated charm that opens but just crossed their fingers that nobody actually would open it. Perfect for the mom hiding a big ol mess behind a put-together exterior (and we mean this in the best, most sincere way).
Good vintage condition with wear in line with age and use, latches securely.
