If we had to pick just three elements for our dream ring, it'd be high karat gold, old cut diamonds, and an elegant low-rise profile - and voila, here is is! Decorated with charming engraved details and a bright starburst gypsy setting, the ring looks and feels like butter (but like, butter with a diamond in it). The diamond is truly gorgeous - so bright and clear that we do suspect it may have been a modern recut, as most diamonds used in the time and style of this ring would have had a warmer tone and more visible inclusions. Furthering this line of thinking, underneath the stone setting a small jump ring has been soldered in place to keep the culet from poking into your finger, suggesting the stone is deeper than what the ring was originally built for. That being said: wow we love this diamond!

This ring would make a beautiful engagement ring/wedding band or even a two-in-one engagement/band combo - but works just as well as an everyday ring since it's built for seamless stacking and using pockets without issue.

Details:
• 18k yellow gold, with British hallmarks for Birmingham 1876 and makers mark A•I
• Fits about 5.5; due to ring soldered under stone setting the band only hits a 4.75 on the mandrel; inside diameter ranges 16-16.5mm; can be resized within reason and has very faint solder seam from past resizing
• One old mine cut diamond approximately 0.28 carat, VVS2 F-G
• Face of ring is 6mm wide with a rise off finger of 3.5 at stone and inside ring, 2.2mm immediately to the side of this; back of band is 2.9mm wide and 0.9mm thick
