An absolutely stunning take on the Edwardian classic daisy ring, this piece features bright, evenly proportioned diamonds in a sleek platinum mount that sits atop a web-like basket and is enhanced by slim, trifurcated shoulders that rise and dip perfectly into the head of the ring. While it's possible the setting may have once had a milgrain finish, the platinum is burnished smooth and sleek, complementing the late old Euro/early transitional cut of the diamonds - this ring likely dates to the mid-1920s. While it has many of the design elements of the Edwardian era - the floral styling and the two-tone fabrication chief among them - there's something just a little more modern in the execution of this ring than many of a similar style. The tight setting of the stones in platinum creates a big, bold look - from a distance - of a solitaire over 3 carats, while the unique character, charm, and femininity of the piece is visible at any distance.

Very good antique condition with reasonable wear in line with age and use. Band is sturdy and all stones are secure. Minor evidence of past resizing.
