Paired Vintage Signet Ring MF

For all the ways that jewelry can end up in a dealer's hand, we almost never know the story behind the original owner or provenance of a piece, even something as sentimental and personal as a signet ring. For similar reasons, it's rather rare that a corresponding pair of rings would managed to stick together, especially when not trading as a lot - but here we seem to have just such a case, and hope deep in our hearts that there is another MF & DG pair out there.

There's such a special feeling in finding a preloved piece that already has letters on it that are meaningful to you, that we play pretty fast and loose - maybe it's the first or last initials of you and your lover, or your own in another order, or the initials of a loved one: no matter what, it will feel sentimental every time it catches your eye.

Very good vintage condition with reasonable wear in line with age and use.

• 9k yellow gold, stamped and tested, maker's mark JHW
• Size 6 and could be modestly sized down but do not recommend sizing up
• Face of ring measures 6.8mm x 7.7mm with a rise of 0.3mm; back of band measures 1.9mm wide and 0.5mm thick

• Face of ring is engraved MF
