A beloved Edwardian style, daisy rings were common in the early 20th century and made great use of rich yellow gold bands paired with the relatively-new white gold (or occasionally platinum). This particular bud sticks out from the bouquet with the use of a bright blue sapphire in the centre of the floret, in an elongated oval cut, surrounded by old single cut diamonds with their charming quirks. The finest milgrain edges the top of the ring, enhancing the play of light across the metal and stones.

Good antique condition with minor wear in line with previous use. c1915. Originally manufactured in the UK.
