A dreamy, romantic Victorian ring featuring a rich, slightly pinkish ruby cradled in a halo of early old European cut diamonds. The belcher setting keeps the entire head of the ring low and comfortable, while the cluster of stones has a commanding presence on the finger. The negative space of the setting acts like a further ring of a petal-like scalloped form surrounding the diamonds as though the whole face is the opening of a densely packed flower. The depth of the stones and silky high karat gold combine for a wildly compelling look.

Very good antique condition with wear in line with age and use, including evidence of past resizing.

• Approximately size 10 (out of round), can be resized within two sizes down (do not recommend sizing up)
• One round cut ruby approximately 0.39 carat; ten old European cut diamonds approximately 0.36 carat total weight (one has small chip)
• Face of ring measures 9.4mm wide, 10.2mm across, with a rise of 3.8mm; back of band measures 1.9mm wide and 0.9mm thick
