A gorgeous antique-inspired double Albert chain, these are a challenge to find in lengths long enough to wear as necklaces. Originally intended for use as watch chains, the t-bar was meant to slide through a vest's buttonhole to anchor the chain, while dogclips at either end were used to secure pocket watches, fobs, keys and the like. While they can certainly still be worn in this way today, we also love to use them as necklaces now - the dogclips perfect to attach charms alone or on a charm ring.
Very good recent vintage condition with wear in line with age and regular use. Clasps are secure. Please note final image is a styling suggestion; any charms pictured are not included.
Details:
• 9k rosy gold, stamped and tested, with international convention hallmarks
• 17.5" long, 3 to 5mm in width
• Elongated twisted links are 15.5mm long
• 19.5g
