Rosy Victorian Belcher Chain

A lightweight chain with a deep patina, this is a classic Victorian style and a great piece to add to your collection. An easy-to-wear 18" length with a secure barrel clasp, you could wear the chain on its own, and allow the clasp to dance about as a focal feature, or add a small and light charm. As is typical of the time, the chain is made with thinly formed gold; each link has a domed volume but is hollowed to minimize the gold weight, so we don't recommend wearing a heavier pendant on this chain. The links bear a few light dents typical of the age and construction of the piece, and the gold ranges from yellow to deep, warm rose with the wear and oxidation to the 9k gold over many generations.
