Art Deco inspiration meets romantic fancy-cut diamonds and symbolic motifs in this gorgeous late 20th century ring. Crafted in two-tone white and yellow gold, this elegant take on a three-stone blends with a halo surrounding a beautiful marquise-cut diamond flanked by slim baguette side stones.

The marquise cut has experienced waves of popularity through her lifespan: some say she was designed c. 1745, in Paris for King Louis XV, who requested a diamond in the shape of his mistress' smile. The stone has inspired designers (and frustrated stone setters) ever since, reaching peak popularity from the 1950s and again in the 1980s. She appears to be making a ferocious comeback, unseating the oval and then pear shapes for those in search of a unique and flattering alternative to a classic round brilliant.

Three stone or trilogy rings have likewise enjoyed a rich tradition. Often interpreted as representing past, present, and future, we love them as much to celebrate a relationship as we do to mark personal achievements, milestones, and goals.

Very good vintage condition with wear in line with age and use.
