This whopper of a ring summons all the power of thousands of years of tradition within the history of the signet ring. Since at least 1400 BCE, signet or seal rings have been tools (serving as signature or seal) as much as they have been markers of status, and the weight and craftsmanship of a sturdy engraved piece will make you feel that immediately. 

While we have not determined the family associated with this crest, the company has indicated that the crest features, as follows, "griffin's head erased, collared and pendant, martlet within shield, within beak Tudor rose 2 buds fruckted."
