Stunning Vintage Marquise Opal Ring

A exquisite retro ring from New York City's W. J. Harber Company, active in the 1930s-1950s. The crisp shape of the marquise is softened by the domed top of the cabochon and the twinkling play of colour from this lovely opal. On each shoulder, white gold is delicately engraved to create the illusion of accent diamonds, and dreamily framed in milgrain, all set upon a yellow gold band. Though the opal is a little shy on camera, the colours are vivid in person.
