A rich and weighty double snake ring, this piece feels incredible on. Two serpents, formed and coiled around one another by hand, and set with two old cut sparkling diamonds, perfectly encapsulate Victorian style and craftsmanship. Snakes were a particular favourite of the era, but have been a mainstay as a design motif since the earliest recorded jewelry. Representing love, passion, power, and rebirth, they are a perfect symbol for unique engagement rings, wedding bands, or for reminding yourself of your own growth and accomplishments.

Though the ring has had a relatively recent polish, buffing out minor scratches and lending a bright glow, the ring is otherwise in very good original condition. The stones have some wear to them (one specifically has two chips on the table, but remains bright and sparkly), and the "T" stamp inside indicating the ring's size and lack of visible solder seams indicated the ring has not been altered in shape or form.

Details:
• 18k yellow gold, with British hallmarks for Chester 1903, with maker's mark obscured and the letter T (British size equivalent to 9.75)
• Out of round, the ring hits just over a size 9 on the mandrel due to shape; and can be resized within reason
• Two old cut diamonds approximately 2.5mm diameter each, one has two chips on the table, both diamonds original to the ring with age-appropriate wear
• Face of ring is 9.2mm wide, 15mm across, with a rise of 2.8mm; back of band measures 3mm wide and 0.7mm thick
• 5.5g
