This ring is the perfect glass slipper, just searching for her Cinderella! A beautiful example of the popular Edwardian daisy cluster style, this diminutive darling is just shy of a size two. She has evidence of past sizing down, but we suspect she was already fairly petite to start with. It's certainly possible that this was worn and loved as a pinky ring, and could continue to function as such, but she could also bear some minor sizing back up to find a home on a (very!) slim ring finger.
The diamonds are bright and lively, and have a beautiful Old European faceting pattern that is complimented by the petal-like setting of the diamonds in surround. The quality of the diamonds and the condition of the ring are very nice, and commensurate with the age of the piece.
Details:
• 18k yellow gold and platinum, stamped and tested
• Size 1.75 and can be resized up to 3.75 maximum
• Approximately 0.50 carats total weight (conservative estimate) old European cut diamonds, H-J SI overall
• Face of ring measures 9.3mm x 9.4mm with a rise of 4.2mm, band measures 2mm wide and 1mm thick at mid-point, and 2mm wide by 0.9mm thick in back
• 1.9g
