Unique Vintage Sapphire Chain Band

Deep pools of blue slink around in this gorgeous and unique near-eternity band. Three ovals gradually taper in size down to a series of round stones encircling your finger. The construction emulates the links of a tennis bracelet, hinging at each base, providing movement and interest while the sapphires offer depth with their rich colours. While the three ovals are a well matched trio of medium deep blue, the round stones have a little more variety and personality, with paler stones and deeper stones alongside indigo blues and greeny-blues.

Good vintage condition with moderate wear to gold and stones. One section has been repaired in back, limiting movement between two of the round sapphires (pictured). Rhodium plating would bring the white gold's appearance to a brighter white if desired.

• Fits as size 7.5 due to flexibility (hits 7 on mandrel), do not recommend resizing
• 3 oval sapphires of tapered sized approximately 0.75 carats combined weight, and 19 round sapphires approximately 1.14 carats combined weight; approximately 1.89 carats total weight
• Face of ring measures 6.1mm at widest, with a rise of 4mm at highest, basic band measures 2.4mm wide and 2.6mm thick, bar at back measures 2.4mm wide and 1mm thick
