This stunning vintage ring takes its cues from the Art Deco era, with a line of vivid emeralds tucked into a channel of platinum lined with milgrain detailing. The channel setting first emerged to great popularity in the 1920s, and saw resurgences again in the 1950s and 1980s. Ideal now for the way the setting protects the stones on both sides for no-fuss stacking, keep in mind that full eternity bands, with stones circling the entire band, will always bear a little wear from getting knocked around from all sides.
Fair vintage condition with wear in line with age and use, including some chipping to emeralds and one or two replacement stones, some synthetic, some with culets that emerge into the finger hole.
Please be aware that emeralds are not compatible with hand sanitizers and alcohols, and care should be taken to avoid exposing them to any other chemicals as well.
Details:
• Platinum, unstamped but tested
• Size 5 (approximately - some culets poke through), cannot be resized
• 21 square emeralds (five chipped, few synthetic and primarily natural)
• Face of ring measures 3mm wide and 2mm thick
• 2.4g
