Vibrant Antique Opal Five Stone Ring

This stunning Victorian ring is absolutely going to break some hearts - five of the liveliest opals we've seen, in softly graduated sizes of oval, snuggle together in a ring that is slim, low rise, and completely eye-catching. Barely-there prongs hold the stones and ripple along the sides with an almost belcher-like use of negative space. So comfortable on the hand you'd almost forget it was there - if it wasn't so goddamn gorgeous!

Very good antique condition with moderate wear in line with age and use, including wear to stones and gold and some visible epoxy. Please keep in mind that opals are not compatible with hand sanitizer and other alcohols.

• 18k yellow gold, with British hallmarks for London 1897, maker’s mark lost to a past resizing
• Size 7 and could be resized within half a size
• Five graduated opal cabochons, from 4x3mm to 5x4mm
• Face of ring measures 7.4mm wide, 17mm across, with a rise of 4.4mm; back of band measures 2mm wide and 0.7mm thick
