If you go down in the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise! While teddy bears are ubiquitous as a childrens' plush toy, they only date back to the beginning of the 20th century, when history seems to indicate that they were simultaneously invented around the same time in both the US (in parody of a hunting trip undertaken by President Theodore Roosevelt) and in Germany. This golden bear is a tiny treasure to keep you young at heart.

Very good vintage condition with wear in line with previous use. c1990s. Originally manufactured in the UK.
